Aftab is a Principal Director of M & A Law Corporation and heads our Regional Practice Group.

Prior to joining M & A Law Corporation, Aftab was the Managing Director of a company specialising in Risk Management and Assessment, Corporate Advisory, Debt Restructuring and Recovery in South East Asia. The company was also involved in Business Intelligence Assessment and Investigations of targeted companies and business partners of its clients. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the expansion of the company's operations into the region, especially in the Thai, Indonesian and Malaysian debt markets.

Aftab's main area of practice is in corporate and commercial matters. He has represented clients from Singapore and overseas in a wide spectrum of matters in the areas of commercial fraud, debt restructuring and recovery, intellectual property infringement, employment disputes and corporate disputes. He represents and advises various multinational corporations on their operations in the region. Some of his more significant matters include:

Aftab is a member of various professional bodies and he represents M & A Law Corporation in regional conferences. In October 2003, he was appointed as an official of the Asean Business & Investment Summit held in Bali, Indonesia, which played host to the region's government leaders and business elite.
